 This exceptional salon, was started single-handedly by Coralee Osborne, after becoming tedious with the lack of quality affordable hair extensions available to the modern day black woman. Time and time again she would leave the salon unsatisfied with the results of a day spent being relaxed, straighten, braided, sewed, pulled, and tugged. It was unfathomable to her that after all that hassle, she had yet to be wowed with her hair as she was with Beyonce’s or Tyra Banks. Osborne needed to know what those woman were doing cause it was obvious they were doing something that her stylist couldn’t’ do. Being a self proclaimed fashionista Ms. Osborne refused to wear any ‘wiggy’ wigs, or “cone” weaves, so she went on a mission to find the hidden celebrity secret.

Set out to find the key components to that flawless weave, Ms. Osborne went through an assortment of options. She found the lace wig, a stylist and once again sat in the chair and waited to be beatified- or so she thought. Once again Osborne left the salon not only unsatisfied but also feeling hopeless. Osborne couldn’t take it anymore Rupunzel’s was born. She travel all around the world to further her knowledge of hair extensions and she received training as far as India, China, the USA and right in her home country of Canada. Once satisfied with the information she had gathered Osborne set out to make a difference with hair extensions as we know it. It started with offering manufacture direct Lace Wigs to the world via her online store, once that picked up and word spread she began offering the lace front application service to her friends, family and a few clients. This is all it took to take the city if Toronto by storm. In just a few months clientele expanded from what seemed like 1 to 1000 over night. The idea that started with Osborne simply trying to satisfy herself turned into a massive commercial product/ service.
